MEET
MITCHELL WALKER
Mitchell is a NYC based Director and Record Producer. He is also the Artistic and Creative Director for The Rusty Anchor Acting Company (RAAC), LLC. As a Record Producer he has worked with music legend Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound and with Two-Time Grammy Award winner Alex Venguer. Some recent projects include, Frankie! The Musical Studio Cast recording (Top 10 Billboard cast album), So Good with Alexa Green (Wicked, Company) which won “Broadway World’s Solo Album of the Year,” and Lauren Turner’s debut EP “Play On,” all on the Broadway Records label. As a Director he has worked on “Night of the Living Dead: The Musical” at Theatre Row (Off-Broadway), Birthday Boy the Musical at The Davenport Theatre (Off-Broadway), The Last Five Years at Columbia University, Gemini Starring Diana DeGarmo at Sony Hall, and DnA: Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young at Birdland. He has also directed shows for Blaine Alden Krauss (Hamilton, Kinky Boots), Janine DiVita (Anything Goes, Grease), Michelle Dowdy (Hairspray), Victoria Cook (Into The Woods), and Amy Toporek (Marvelous Wonderettes) at Feinstein’s/ 54 Below, Joe’s Pub, Don’t Tell Mama, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, Haswell Greens, and The Metropolitan Room. He is a graduate of University of Cincinnati, CCM BFA in Musical Theatre and proud member of AEA.

The Rusty Anchor Acting Company’s home theatre is located in Washington Heights, NYC. Started by Director and Record Producer Mitchell Walker, RAAC is a throwback to the underground theatre scene of the 1960's that has seen a renaissance in recent years. The Heights has been helmed the "New Brooklyn" by the New York Times and it has a growing art scene to back that up.
